    Player Watch Billy Frampton

Under rated defensive game on Harris Andrews, constantly took him wide and kept Andréws in areas he couldn’t influence the game. Andrews has been dominant and controlling the last few weeks and a big key to their game. Last quarter players got tired and dump kicked it to that contest which was...

    Player Watch Tom Mitchell

Tom was awesome today. What seems to be getting overlooked is his game high 13 tackles. He tackled Brisbane stoppages into the ground. That is the equal 6th highest tackles in a GF, equaling himself from 2015 GF. With Tay Adams out Mitch had to come to the party and he certainly did!

Grundy/Jackson/Logue Melb/freo/Coll Exchange of picks and salary Heard it’s a distinct possibility. I do like Logue and will watch him carefully Saturday. He would have been a handy Cameron match up last week that is for sure.

    Toast Round 23 = Carlton 74-75 Collingwood

Greatest Home & Away game win we have ever had. The combination of epic pain and misery inflicted on the arch enemy, the 1 point thrilling finish winning the unwinnable game, and the huge rewards of making top 4 will never be matched ever again.

Now Billy’s goal was good but it is only the Second best set shot from that pocket in a last quarter. Someone from the Qualifying final 2003 vs Brisbane may have the upper hand.

Game Day Round 5 vs. BRIS. Thurs 14/04, 7:35pm Gabba

with our injuries it won’t happen soon but maybe when Roughead and Dean both available we need to look at shifting Moore forward to make us more dangerous. The game style doesn’t suit Moore’s defensive attributes which likes more structure and setup. However the way we move the ball forward now...

Hopefully it’s a favour to GWS who know he is only angling for Bomber land and they know Dodoro will screw them. Forces a higher bid by Bombers in return for maybe a non bid come draft time 🤫

    Round 1 Team 2022

Noble is serviceable, the reason he gets games is his speed and the fact the speedy forwards expose us often. Quaynor is the popular pick off half back but if Noble can hold that position IQ can become a weapon up field. I don’t see much on our list that displaced him easily, perhaps out of the...

    Coach Craig McRae

I think given Craig’s association with the Bris Lions sides that inflicted so much damage in the early naughties, it is only fair that our expectations of Craig is to deliver us two flags in compensation. It is footy karma. In all seriousness it is a great common sense choice and will be great...

News Eddie McGuire steps down as Collingwood President

yes I think we all felt similar. Ed would always lead with his jaw to take the fallout for the club...he always did with mixed results. He would see it as leading and getting in the trenches he was not afraid to shed some blood but sometimes brave and stupid are mot far removed. I liken it to...

News Eddie McGuire steps down as Collingwood President

Good knock Eddie, you tried your best and had a go which sets you apart from many others. You retired hurt and made some mistakes along the way, but those who are bold enough to make change and forge a way forward will always find it painful and make errors. Those that look below the surface...
