    Good on them if that's the case, Goldfields are an extension of AFL Victoria aren't they so that is a breaking of links to them as the key funding body??     Great result changeover in Board, getting two club land presidents on the board also. Hopefully they remain independent and focus on the league as a whole. 16 round season a cop out we have another season where draw will impact the standings at the end of the year. Final 5 a great result.

    If a club can field a team with 25/26 points, seriously who cares what they are paying there players. They must have 90% 1 pointers, so let them pay what they like what does it matter.

    There were disgruntled people everywhere I the Deer Park scandle apparently and nothing proven. Move on never going to prove it there has been salary caps in the past many many years ago, they got the sarse then as you could not police and nothing has changed. The salary cap is the points!

    Salary cap is a waste of time, we saw that with the Deer Park review! Take $10k, $20k off a clubs salary cap, how do you know if they have adhered to it, you don't !
