List Mgmt. Next Generation Academy List

It's about time! Under investment in an area where we have a clear competitive advantage was a big point of frustration for me with this current admin. Our catchment area includes so many diverse communities that are eligible as NGA, and with the removal of 1st Rd lock out we should continue to...

Coach Future of the Club (Bevo; Board; Assistant Coaches; Football Department) - Part 2

Not sure if this is a coded argument to defend Bevo or not, because our drafting between those years was great and got us key players in our 16 and 21 runs to the GF and was arguably key factor in us having such a strong list. I doubt any club had the hit rate we did over that period. It's the...

Game Day Bulldogs to D-word the Hawks (criminals welcome here)

Hawks adjusted their game play 2nd quarter, going slow and around the boundary. Helps them defend our ball movement. Our only hope is to make this a chaos game, tell Darcy to play corridor and try and score on transition. Otherwise it's death by a thousand cuts.

Gives Brody Mihocek vibes. Think there's no harm in picking up a 3rd tall particularly if Cody is no certainty to get back to the top level this year.

We have a clear competitive advantage given how multi cultural the Western region is (greater pool). As a smaller club we should be allocating a significant portion of our soft cap towards the NGA program. Long overdue but great to see the club is now driving this agenda. Extending the ages as...

I'm an ass man myself, but less Butts more trade talk. Would it be in our interest to bring the Curnow trade together in a move for Wilkie? Thinking something like: Sydney In - Curnow, Saints 2026 3rd Out - 2025 1st, 2026 1st, Oli Florent Dogs In - Wilkie, Carl 2025 3rd Out - 2025 1st...

Perfect time for Port to trade him. Last time SA won the U18s carnival, they had a mini reset with 3 1st Rd picks (2018). Looks like they are likely to win this year, and now recent mock drafts have 5/ top 20 from SA. If they can turn Butters into 2-3 picks this year it will be a great result...

Lipinski was traded for a 3rd, and all of these guys were drafted earlier than him so there is the potential tax. My thinking is if they continue to improve the cost of a 2nd rd is more than acceptable. Josh Ward in particular has been quite good this year.

Its exciting to see the club put its hat in the ring for these big name targets and hopefully we can pull it off. As a contingency, if we don't land these bigger names there are a few prospects from the 21 draft that are out of contract that I'd be keen to target with ideally our 2nd rd pick...

We shouldn't be holding Chris Grant accountable for this. Our CEO endorsed this approach. He gets an easy ride around here and Chris is left to carry the can when it was frankly Ameets mismanagement that left our football department significantly under resourced.

Richmond and Hawthorn kept Dusty and Buddy despite their off-field indiscretions (not knowing exactly what JUH is up to, but i doubt its worse than what these two were up to). They realised the value in harnessing their talents rather than cutting and running. If we did trade him, it would...

I don't get the three tall forwards doesn't work narrative, Sydney and Brisbane playing in a GF both have 3 tall forwards. They just have better systems in place to make it work in the big games.

At 22, he is averaging the 3rd highest shots at goal per game just behind Cameron and Curnow. Rather than shipping him off, let's invest in the right coaching to get the best out of him.

Picking up Dunkley is a key reason why Brisbane are playing in a 2nd Grand Final in a row after they gave up very little for him. In such a tight competition at the top, I hope Sam Power has learnt his lesson and drives a much harder bargain this time around. Bailey Smith is the difference...

Jones was really poor in the EF. His limited disposal also worries me. Thankfully Buss is starting to look the part and would help with transition ball movement. On Libba, kind of sacrilegious to say but I feel like the end will come quicker for him given the artritional way he played the game...
