    All the vic commentators complaining Vic bias commentators were cheering on Elliot to be the hero. Was a perfect spoil by Starce and should have been commentated like that. Brilliant piece of defending, spoiling the ball before making limited contact with the player.

    Happy with the draw. I for one am happy with no extra-time in AFL. I can only image the absolute time-managing garbage we would see in games when scores are tied in the last couple of minutes as teams play for extra-time.

    It really is a joke of an award to me. Transition to an MVP and remove it from the umpires. Doesn't sit right with me that umpires get to vote on the best players, not their job. Leave the voting to a panel of sports-journalists and broadcasters from around the country.
