How could Geelong possibly miss James Worpel?

If you have a big tank and are strong in the contest I think you can still fulfil a role but Atkins is better in that position

AFL Player 14: Jordan Ridley - benched with calf awareness vs Gold Coast - 18/4

Dylan Grimes couldn't get a run at it for a long time

    Redo the 2009 draft.

He did have quite a strong end to his career

Mega Thread Nick Daicos - Can he be the GTWEB? Part 3

30 Brownlow votes was an obscene amount back then. Judd was head and shoulders the best player in the comp for ~2ish seasons in a way I’m not sure anyone has been since.

Mega Thread Nick Daicos - Can he be the GTWEB? Part 3

Can anyone think of another player who makes such quick decisions ball in hand with that breakaway speed and tackle evasion ability of Daicos. Ablett and Judd were some of the very best at using speed and strength to create time and space. Sam Mitchell and Merrett had/have that quick...

NO TROLLS Elijah Hollands (GC-Carlton): Recent Developments & Mental Health Wellbeing

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at? It was clearly a mental health episode whether it was due to being on illicit substances or withdrawal effects from drugs and alcohol. It's clearly an episode of some sort.

    AFL Player 25: Jaxon Prior - Re-signed for another year! - 10/9

Yeah I understand. I just think improving in the contest is his best chance of becoming a long term player. I don’t see why he’s written off as someone who can’t improve.

    AFL Player 25: Jaxon Prior - Re-signed for another year! - 10/9

I agree. His attack on the ball in the air and on the ground with more confidence then last year and is a good ball user especially by foot. His biggest weakness is despite seemingly working hard defensively for a 188cm strong relatively athletic bloke he just seems too easily beaten in 1 on 1s.

Recommitted Zach Merrett [UFA 2027] - Wanted a trade to Hawthorn, but it didn't get done

Crazy how Hawks supporters keep trumpeting 3 first round picks and "godfather offer" when the player's own manager clearly blamed Hawthorn for a lack of a deal.

    Recommitted Massimo D'Ambrosio [re-signed to 2028]

He's been good but we possesed the crap out of the ball. Long way to go to reach Hooker's level.

Analysis Best Young Key-Forward in the Competition

I think KPF is just quite a technical position and experience with body positioning and timing leads takes quite a while to learn

    Recommitted Darcy Parish - re-signed until 2028!

Not sure work ethic is Parish’s issue. I think he’s quite well regarded there. It’s physical limitations and being a one trick pony in the midfield that are his issues.
