    Yes, it does include F/S (and academy). However, all the pre-listed 17yr olds, and I think the 17yr old mini-draft, the kids have to accept the offers. Tasmania could offer a pre-listed spot to (say) Bewick, but he has the right to turn it down in the expectation Essendon will match any bid in 2027.

    We clearly should have started it in 2022 or 2023. Either when we got rid of Rutten, or when Scott had had one year to review the list. But, EFC had drunk the Kool-Aid. They chose Scott to get the most out of the list. And Scott either agreed, or was willing to shut up and take the money.

    You have to be honest. Say its failed. Or, they could have been brutal, and trade out senior players, and say to the fans it would be a 3-4 year rebuild. Now we've ground ourselves down to where it will probably be 7+ years.

    Sometimes its that players aren't available. Hawks were picking before us in 2023 with Watson. Sometimes its luck. Hawks also went hard for McKay. The silly sod chose us.
