I thought McCreery was lucky to survive this week. At half time I told my brother (watching overseas), that he needed a stellar second half to survive. He didn't have one. A few other blokes had quiet ones though - Sidey, WHE, Bobby, Q........the more I look at it, the luckier I think we were.

Sometimes as supporters, we have blind spots to certain players and unrealistic expectations of others. I think I might have blind spots when it comes to Carmichael and Sofrinidis - I just don't see how they make us better. I'm not convinced on McCrae either, but get it that I'm in the minority...

That's terrible news really, because he has a red hot go and throws his body into contests without fear. He kicks like a mule and, and, and, and....... lowers his eyes and doesn't just kick it anywhere. After watching him today, I'm disappointed all over again that we underrated him.
