    Was at the game with a friend that was a past player as Newport had a past players day…. I must say the umpiring was atrocious & borderline cheating from one umpire in particular to a point where a spectator from Wyndhamvale agreed with us.

    Going to be a very competitive Division 2 season next year…. Lots of highly skilled players from division 1 to division 2… have also realised Newport have signed 2 big players that have both played at VFL level.

    This game had 3 umpires. 1 of them was an obvious cheat who has umpired Newport before and always goes against them. I can also confirm that an umpire swore at one of the Newport players. Several players heard it including opposition. This is going straight to tribunal with opposition players...
