Nice to see Sruk named. Hope he can show something. Good to see Mirkov back. He gives our mids first use and we need as much help in that area as we can get.

Fair enough. But considering how young the AFLW is, and how few players have played in yet, it makes some sense. I was always irritated when the rules changed for the men and we missed out on decent players, Lloyd comes to mind.

Good luck to him. He'd be a pretty good player in Darwin, where the pressure on him isn't as significant. He would have time to make kicks count.

We haven't had a lot of great players wear 43; I can't think of one before Swan McKay. But the ones who have been good have been brilliant.

Not disappointed. Not all of these guys were regulars, more bit players, but we are better for their being there. Maher will be probably the biggest positive after missing most of 2023 with injury. He was good in 2022. Archie Stevens is also positive, given that Geelong drafted his brother.

Maybe a little early, but with the Drafts done, it is 2024 all ahead. Very interesting to see how many of the 2023 are retained.

If he can kick like Houlihan, then we need him. Fev always preferred Houlihan as someone to kick it to him: Hoops had superb foot skills.
