    Mmmmm, Ryan looked in amazing nick tonight. He will be the 4th player out of 50 senior players over 30 years of age. Of the remaining 46 senior players, 40 are below the age of 26. Average age of this group of 50 players is 23.0. Do your homework before making outlandish statements.

    Fair cop - we can get rapt up in what we are doing, and as you say, we are doing what every other club is doing. I am also pinning my hopes on the improvement in the large majority of our playing list, whose average age is 22, and who will get better again. Bring on 2013.

    The thinking at Bernard's is - they have some real quality young kids and quality guys aged in their early 20's. They lacked quality in that 25 - 29 year age group. Experienced men who really benefit those guys aged 23 years and below. Of the players listed on your thread here...... Bentick...

    De La rely on too few. Big men are poor, fitness no good, Bernard's will roll them in H2. Big ground will also benefit Bernard's as they showed last week against St. Bede's.

    Can't believe some comments on this web site. Bernards only had a full side the last 3 weeks, and beat De La and St. Bede's twice. Bernards only side to beat Xavs - and Sunday's side had 9 ins versus the team that beat xavs. Bernards will beat De La and then beat Xavs again.

    I don't really expect any of the other 8 Premier div sides to take any real notice of us at all. You and I obviously have way too much time on our hands to be going at it in early December, and I really couldn't give a shite what your obviously expert eyes did or didn't see on GF day last year...
