those were the days. My bro's teacher (whose brother and sis were in Hudu Gurus btw) threw a chair at a kid. He deserved it.
We used to have the teachers smoke in the (shared) toilets while we were in there. Miss the aroma of winnie blues in the morning.
ah the Bones Brigade days. Loved the cameo in Police Academy 4 of Steve Caballero, Tommy Guerrero, Mike Mcgill, Lance Mountain and Tony Hawk. People really did have cool names in the 80s.
I like it. I get entertained Disney style with a happy ending. Who watches a movie where everything goes the way of the good guy from start to finish. Boring.
Geelong have indeed done a job of developing Holmes and De Koning (GWS developed Bruhn, and Collingwood developed Henry so I'll leave them aside). That's 2 players...so well done Geelong. Great work!!
Emmett. No tackles, no goals. Isn't playing bad but surely we can look to improve on that for a forward, defensive or otherwise.
Our other medium forward Freddie as comparison:
well they were hard core dockers supporters until their son joined WC which has provided a mental dilemma ever since, and particularly now that WC are the worst established team ever to hit the AFL record books.
soz, we prefer to lose after the siren following a dubious free kick that is awarded 60m downfield and taken by the 2nd Carlton player closest to the ball that surprisingly happens to be the better kick of the 2.
JOM has been sub, Emmett does good things and may have sticky hands and play to space but is also a forward and has 0 goals, and 4 tackles in 3 weeks (0 tackles against Adelaide). One of those two needs to make way for Ras to be rewarded for effort at Peel.
Would like to see Ras come in for Emmett (0 goals, 0 tackles) this week. Need to reward form (to maintain a good culture), and send players back to Peel to recapture theirs
