Pies are still well in this game. Even up the clearances and a fair chance to go over them.

Young played on Cameron last year , Cameron kicked 6 but we still won reasonably comfortably. That's probably a worst case scenario. Doesn't mean that if it happens again we win but it's not necessarily doomsday.

How it appears to be applied these days is that a player has a duty of care when entering a marking contest. It's all split second stuff but Greene has a duty of care to Boyd. By taking his eyes off the ball and bracing for contact Greene has decided to protect himself and failed in his duty...
