    I think a lot of Melbourne fans feel the line was crossed when our player was being stretched off and the Collingwood fans decided that was the time to start a chant, as opposed to the usual thing where everyone from both sides claps off a player who’s been knocked out.

    With the new CBA signed, and seeing historical changes, you could see a jump of even 15-20% in the salary cap moving forward. $1 million is a lot, but it isn't what it used to be ...

    Ridiculous. Just absolutely ridiculous. Swan was arrested for assault amongst a number of other charges leaving someone with permanent brain damage and he was convicted for it. Side note, Swan actually said he was no regrets on this.

    If you're not watching what other defenders are doing to impede a forward's progress to the drop off the ball then I don't know what to tell you. The blocking free to me is one of the most confusing ones out there based on how they pay/don't pay them.

    Reckon this will be a belter. If Oliver can come back that'll help us a lot but no Petty just as our forward line looked good has me really concerned.

    Wouldn't shock me in the slightest if the AFL botched it. The only issue is it doesn't allow four teams to make the 8 from if they're in 7th-12th position after round 17. And stadium scheduling is probably a bit more difficult but still, would help clean up so much of the issues.

    The 17-6 fixture is the only way to get some sort of equalisation in the home and away fixture as long as the each home is swapped year to year.
