I do look forward to this year's meltdown by someone because they think preseason form = season form.
And, of course, David King takes preseason form very seriously, so that should tell you everything you need to know about it.
They could stretch it out over several seasons or future movies. Sure, there'll be a payoff at the end of this season but I can't see all the answers being given.
King of Queens was a funny show because it had a great cast, it was well written, and it was filmed in front of an audience so they played for laughs. The Crew is filmed with no audience so they just say the lines and the laugh track is added after. These kinds of shows are never funny, IMO...
The final credits annoy me because when they start there are like still 5+ minutes to go on the stream and it makes you think maybe they've got some teaser in there and every time there's nothing.
We watched the Hotel Cecil docu-series and found it a bit of a chore in the end. It's an interesting case but the credibility given to a lot of internet wackjobs grew tiresome.
It seems like some of the theories about how this series will allow Marvel to combine the XMen & the Avenger universes is looking right after the reveal at the end of episode 5.
Irresistible (2020)
This American election spoof written and directed by Jon Stewart and starring Steve Carrell seemed to have the pedigree to be a very good film. While it does provide a few laughs, it somehow just fails. I think the problem is Steve Carrell, he just has no personality in...
I thought the last ep really started to make this show interesting. The sitcom stuff was OK, but if that had been the entire season I would've got bored with it.
