Congratulations to the owners. Hopefully their patience will be rewarded with many more wins. Credit to the horse whisperer in NZ, I know a few failed here.

And another Group1 for Tory Dickson, with Feroce winning the Australian Guineas. He’s blessed.

Didn’t get near the cup place getters on Tuesday, unfortunately.

So POJ’s owner has now sacked Declan Bates. Whilst he may have gone a bit too hard in the race, I don’t think that was the reason she failed. Should never had gone to Sydney the week before.

Spot on KH. I can’t argue with your assessment on those three. As for your mate’s horse, Have a Crack? If so, I feel for the owners.

Most of the people in the marquees next week will be lucky to see a race live. The horses are secondary to their social occasion.

Fraar was bad, Miss Penny Money and Here de Angels were rogues. Fortunately, these days there are fewer problem horses due to the improved protocols in place before a horse starts; barrier certificates etc. As for jockeys, Craig Williams wins on both counts. The most generous person I have ever...

Definitely not. We don’t move the gates. It was the club’s workers.

Moonee Valley will host next year’s and then start their development. It surely has to be run at Flemington in 2026. The plan is to be back racing at the Valley in August 2027.

Unfortunately, it’s another case of an owner overstepping the boundaries. The Cox Plate was Pride of Jenni’s Grand Final, so to take it to Sydney a week before was insanity. Maher knew it, Ottobre( owner) couldn’t be told. As a greyhound trainer for nearly 50 yrs, there is nothing worse than...

Kane Cornes will push AA selection next year for both Daniel and Macrae just to attack Beveridge.

Just read where Tory Dickson has a share in Feroce, running in the Guineas today. Has already won the race with Super Seth, the sire of Feroce. Also in the ownership is Craig McRae and Justin Leppitsch. Tory owned a share in Merchant Navy as well, so has been very lucky.

David Hayes certainly had a day out on Derby Day 1990. In his first year of training after his father retired,he won with Raise a Rhythm, Wrap Around, the Wakeful with Beachside, the MacKinnon with Better loosen Up, the Salinger with Planet Ruler and the Dalgety with Mount Olympus. 2 Group 1’s, 3...
