    Ponting was 20 and Clarke 23 when they made their Test debuts. Cooper Connolly is 22, and seems to be following a similar path to Clarke who was brought in through the one day squad. It would be a progressive move to pick Connolly and not out of norm if he were selected for the Melbourne Test.
