Will be very interesting to see how we line up against the Swans. A few players unavailable with short term injuries. Liked the look of Derksen and would prefer to play him rather than rush Dean. I think Young also plays and can handle a Amartey or McLean type. Previously I would've said HOK...

If I was West Coast, i'd try and trade Pick 1 to Essendon for 5 and 6, and 2 to Melbourne for 7 and 8. A few second rounders going back the other way perhaps.

I think missing out on Buku may be a blessing, we need a bigger stop gap 2nd key defender or 2nd key forward. Don’t have to be a superstar, just an honest competitor. Whether we grab Blight as a rookie and a key forward in the draft pool?
Still reckon we have a crack at Gruzewski. Don't think Giants have any major academy picks this year, but obviously rate a player or two as they've dealt with the Bulldogs to get up a bit further.
Cats can't be any chance for Charles, won't be willing to give anything up, don't have the picks and don't really need him with Neale coming on.
Swans probably have the most to offer, and would strongly benefit from getting him - in comparison to the Cats and Suns.
Pick 9 + Swan's 2026 first...
