    Save your eyes Mike. In games like these though I look for the small wins like a nice passage of play or a goal/mark. Not much you can take away from yday. The first half wasn’t too bad - ADW mark and two goals is worth a look. As was kakos toe poker but that was in the second half.

    He should practice goal kicking after formal training sessions. Does he do this already? Lloyd did the extra practice and also at half time breaks under sheedy iirc. I really like him though and I know he’s got what it takes to evolve into a goal kicking superstar.

    Wasn’t a great day for him yday GD. but he’s not alone. I hope he bounces back in this match. I think he got moved to the defence which still is a learning curve for him.

    I would have loved to play aflw. I’m way too old now and was never an option back then. AFL is a such a high contact sport that it is a tough game for all genders. It isn’t for everyone.

    I am no Mitchell fan but he has a coaching style that seems to extract everything out of his players and lets them know if it’s below standards. I don’t have to like the team but they have grown very confident and that belief is reflected on field. Hard for me to say but also hard for me to ignore.
