Never doubted they gave it a whirl, just doubted ( and still do ) its effectiveness. It was presented up thread as a sure fire way to beat hotspot. My point is and always has been that hotspot should be used as a data point in conjunction with other technology. None of this stuff is infallible... -

Sure I do. I also know it needs frequent reapplication in non-sealed environments, particularly if often eroded. Say with a ball hitting it. Or a bat tapping a pitch. I can see the theory, I just doubt the real world practicality. Strongly doubt actually. -
