    An ambulance doesn't allude to anything. Even if you have a minor mental health crisis , the ambos will come. He might not be safe to drive. He might have had a mental health crisis team assess him at home, and decide that he needed to be admitted.

    Ok educated guess on my part. They dont mention the type of hospital. Though my point still stands , to be admitted to any hospital requires a clinician.
