though I thought his ball use, especially his kicking, had improved markedly the last couple of BHH games.

Autopsy Round 10, 2025: Hawks get Demonized

plus his blocking work has been top notch this year - while in some matches, topping the clearances himself - been a big reason the mid field has worked as well as it has through most matches till last Saturday.

Autopsy Round 10, 2025: Hawks get Demonized

yes well this was my Saturday - thought i had put my race 3 selections at Scone on (but i suddenly realised race 1 at flem was only a couple of minutes away so shifted my attention to that) and, of course , after the Scone race and riding mine home came to the quite shocking realisation that i...

Game Day Round 9, 2026: Fremantle v Hawthorn, 8.10pm AEST

We need our pressure up - it was way down against the Pies. Chalk and cheese when comparing that with the previous match v the Suns. If our pressure is more like it was in Tassie then alot can flow from there.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn: Pick 18, Josh Weddle - now locked in until 2030

yes and the Wiz had an awful kicking action - particularly in his hold of the ball and drop - in his first year and with work under Sam (especially) he is now a great kick no matter what sort of kick he is doing. so hopefully they can really get to work on Wed's action and analyse it and sort it...

and plenty of times he put himself in good positions and didn't get used - but it is extremely important that we have players in the side do that throughout the game.

    Preview Round 7, 2026: Hawthorn v Gold Coast Suns, 25 April 2026, 12.30pm AEST @ York Park

Finn was going quite well in the team prior to his kidney injury - his kicking seemed to have improved, he could kick a few goals- if pushing forward, take a strong 1 on1 mark etc. worth giving him a go against the Suns then if good enough could repeat the dose v Daicos.
