I agree with using our reserves options. What about Michael Rudd? Reckon he would step up at AFL level. He is a classy left footer with elite running.

Good to have this clarified. After all the talk/education/ expectations/ pressures on kids trying desperately to get into the AFL system, to uphold the AFL’s moral standards it would be a very disappointing move by Geelong or any team to consider him.

Good to see Rudd get some credit for his efforts this year. Easily a Top 5 forward in the National Champs and backed it up with his Coates league form. So stiff to miss a National Combine invite. Deserves to get a top 50 ranking.
Harsh. I don’t think anyone could question the talent of these kids in the Coates League. Hope none of them outside the top 20 read this. Of course it varies but all the talk of this shallow draft and questionable talent is undeserved. They’re playing at the highest

Have to agree with your comments about inconsistency. He did not perform when it counted in the Nat Champs like other Forwards. Other forwards like Morris’s and Rudd were more impressive in the Champs but get marked down because of height. Rudds a local boy with great leadership skills...
