    Macrae can't even crack a mention in the poll options ??? He'll be the Dog's next Brownlow winner and his onfield leadership by example is second to none. A combination of he and Bont would cover the captaincy situation pretty nicely for the next decade I woulda thought.

    Yeh, Foley pretty handy but still can't believe eagles chose him ahead of Valente. Reckon he'll turn out to be one of those 'if only' types that other clubs will rue not picking up - considering some of the ho-hum players selected earlier in that range.

    Since Dogs currently do not hold a full set of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th round picks for next year (pretty sure u have no 2019 4th pick left atm), they aren't permitted to trade away their 2019 first rounder. Keep 7 or not. But it would be crazy not to try trade into teens using 27 and 32 before West...

    Trading out future first rounder is desperation. You guys don't wanna go down that track surely? Simply wait til pick 7 arrives - if there's someone available too good to pass up, then use it. Then bundle up those problematic 27 and 32 to perhaps get something in the teens for any one of those...

    Yep, that's the risk bit of my equation :) Personally, I'd be more than happy if Freo had a crack at West at 14. I really rate him highly. However, most on our boards expect Hill to be our target.
