Absolutely......there are a lot of nuances that need to be war-gamed.
But overall, I think a draft points model is viable. Just need smarter people than me to work out the mechanics of the system

WRT future picks, I dont think you can extrapolate current finishing positions for the next 2 seasons to determine how many points you have for this year's trade/draft period. I think you need to average it out in some fashion based on current finishing positions...
I raised this very concept about 3 or 4 years ago (pre-covid) and got smashed.
I still think this concept has merit for the reasons you pointed out in your original reply post.
Main value I see is how Future Pics are valued - have to have some sort of average value depending on where the club...
I would argue that Kosi will be a very capable 3rd tall, but I'm not sure that being number 1, or even number 2 banana upforward suits him. Having said that he is still only 23, and approaching 50 games.

Has only played 45 games. Looks better as 2nd or 3rd tall, behind Mitchell Lewis and Brandon Ryan when he played.
Started to show something late in the year. I am hoping we give him another year to see how his development continues as he pushes past 50 games
