Wasn't he a supporter of the notion that Port betrayed the SANFL because they didnt wait with the rest of the SANFL in order to enter when there was more bargaining power to remove such inequities as the Grand Final being at MCG every year?

I can't help help but think that the club will have to revisit its trade/drafting plans, given that our actions last year were based on Wines being traded out this year (but now he's likely to stay). So, will the club then trade someone else (a ruckman perhaps?) or just hope that Jones isnt bid...
