    When Stringer gets traded he gets a new contract - he isn't going to be on the 1 year deal remaining he was on at the Dogs. Was meant to go to meetings to sort of out what sort of offer they can put him down for sponsorship dollars so Stringer's management can start comparing prospective deals...

    This is a good point but it assumes that Essendon are willing to part with a pick that high. Stringer was a no show to sponsorship meetings with Cotton On and Morris finance in Geelong. He also refused to answer calls from Geelong as to why he missed these meetings making them filthy with him...
