    They lead the clearances despite the obvious disadvantage in the ruck but their defence has been badly exposed with the lack of KPD talent.

    I agree. The AFL should not be actively promoting one specific style of play. And in the process reducing the place for specific player types like inside midfielders or the big/burly ruck types. This article written a month ago puts it perfectly. Would highly recommend giving it a read...
