I think I’d only drop one Menzie, not both.

I don’t think Shiel plays yet. That was his first run around in a very long time on the weekend. And before it gets suggested - remember Shiel was downright awful when we bought him back mid-late last year and played him as the sub a couple times.

I think we'll aim to have 18 guys out there, as often as possible. That's about the extent of our plans. But I hope we'd be consistent with that across the year, regardless of ground.

My Out of the Knows tell me this one is one to watch.

AFL Player #23: Harrison Jones - God-tier Hands

Blicavs is also the most one-of-a-kind athlete the AFL has possibly seen in 20 years.

AFL Player #23: Harrison Jones - God-tier Hands

Yeah 100% agree. I've been preaching this point for a little while. We need to change our mindset from "Player X is better than Player Y overall, so let's bring in Player X for Player Y." Draper is a better player than Jones, sure. But we need to be thinking a lot more about the 'mix' overall...

I'd be playing both Hobbs and Caldwell. While Hobbs best spot is no doubt midfield, he's a genuine pressure guy who tackles with intent (while also being good for giving away a free kick or 2 a game). But with Guelfi out, he would've been my replacement choice.

Coach Men's Senior Coach: Brad Scott

Interesting one. You need a certain number of guys who you'd feel comfortable saying "You're not ideal best 22, but we've got this 2 week injury, and we need you for 2 weeks" (eg: Hind replacing Guelfi and/or Redman this weekend). Then you need a certain number of guys who are younger...

Coach Men's Senior Coach: Brad Scott

We do go down the path of drafting projects who clearly are not going to play for a few years at least (by our own admission) and then delist them after anywhere between 2-4 years. Which just doesn't make much sense. When people talk about depth also, we have had an issue with the balance of...

Geez those ins and outs bode well for us. Dons by 84.

AFL Player #13: Nik Cox 🦄 - Skipper called him 'the Unicorn' in an interview (confirmed!)

Cox was the only top 10/first round pick? I know Westhoff was late. Dont know for sure, but I don’t think blicvas was a high pick No idea where/how koutafidies was recruited.

    AFL Player #38: Archie Roberts

Watched most of his 16-18yr old games, so reasonably across his skillset (not a shot, just a comment that I’ve seen a fair bit of him). Whitfield not a bad comparison. Not current Whitfield, but maybe what he can get to. But yes, endurance is definitely his go as a runner.

    AFL Player #38: Archie Roberts

Neutral on leg speed. Won’t literally burst away from people due to his pace, but certainly not a weakness. If we’re putting into categories, I would say someone like hind can literally outrun people. Someone like redman is quick without maybe being able to do that. Roberts is closer to that...

Preview Round 2: Sydney vs Essendon, SCG, Saturday 23/03/24 @ 7:30 PM

This is true. Well Blakey will notice that, think to himself, "Damn, that's a shame", quickly duck off to rinse his cereal bowl, come back on and, send a post-it-note to Papley or Heeney to ask where they want it, receive a return message saying "Wherever works for you", to which Blakey nods...

In the meantime, Blakey might genuinely decide to eat a bowl of cereal while he has the ball, pondering which quartile of Logan McDonald's chest he'll hit when delivering him the ball in the next 30-45secs.
