Personally I think he'd make a fantastic wingman, lovely skills on both sides of the body. The ability to turn onto your left is massive in assisting quick ball movement and wingers can often have that final kick into the forward 50 so kicking skills vital.
If Luke Dunstan is coming back to SA then he'd be perfect. He's a big bodied, experienced mid that would rack them up at SANFL level. His skill level is ordinary, but that's why he never quite made it at AFL level, it's good enough for SANFL.

Better balanced than what we had this year.
You've simply made this up, he was trialed as a defender in the VFL at the back end of 2022. He's probably played about 20 games in total as a defender. I mean I'm sure the club would love to get a proven AFL defender, but that doesn't appear a realistic option this year, so Esava is the best...
In one if his interviews when he signed on, he said he’d had a chat about where they see him playing going forward and they said they want to try him on a wing, said he was fine with that.
Georgiades will be given a go on the wing, this is already confirmed. Bergman will finally settle onto a wing with BZT taking his spot in defence. A backline of Rat, BZT, Aliir, Houston, Jones, Burton looks much better.
Cripps will get Sav and BZT done, no way they declare their hand this early without assurances. Cripps will have to get creative, which based on JHF trade is his forte.
Just a reminder that we were asking for a first rounder for Ladhams and he ended up being used as a pick upgrade. What clubs say now has no bearing on what actually transpires in trade talks.
