    According to Chris Scott in the post game presser that’s why they didn’t give him a run against the tigers. They decided he would be better off having a full game in the VFL today rather than 20 minutes in the AFL yesterday.

    There’s a number of systems that can work but I don’t think we can call it a fair national competition while the gf is always at the g. This just seems to me a fair, relatively easy and obvious change to make.

    Also Edwards was in the Freo Academy so if Geelong, or any other club, wanted him he would have to have been taken prior to pick 40….Edwards was tipped to go late first/early second so I imagine Geelong would have been fairly happy to get him where they did.
