    it would be a big change, but why not? no different to any other sports. the ball is still being propelled through the goal by a kick. the purpose of a smother would be stop that happening, not to just clip the ball by a fingernail on the way through.

    has to go. good wins against decent sides don't outweigh bad losses against poor sides. game plan may or may not be there, but we arguably have the worst body language and belief of any playing group when things don't go our way, and that is a coaching issue.
