    We lost to GWS, WCE, and Carlton last season and have beten all three this season. Thats progress from one season to another.

    Its that VICBIAS that got Tigers over the line... wait.... checks the AFL website.... it was played at Optus stadium. All the excuse about umpiring in the world wont wash away the stink that you lost to Richmond while they were missing half their team. Pathetic job Eagles.

    If Pendles played last night, he would have injured himself. Playing a 38 year old off a 5 day break is asking for him to pull a calf.

    Of course, its a gamble for us. I really want to keep him, smartest deal would be a similar deal to Nas. Two year contract and if we play finals, and look to be pushing for top 4 then easier to resign him longer term.

    We want more because we dont want him to leave, if we say top 10 pick to whoever he selects then they have to satisfy that or we walk him to the PSD where Eagles or Richmond would take him. Darcy would be silly to want to be in the PSD which means either he signs for short term and tries again...

    They do have Yeo and Kelly, both are very expirenced midfielders. Neale is a very good player but its like when Ablett went to GC, its all for the money. Wont make a huge amount of difference.

    Why are so many Eagles fans sore losers, you played well for two and a half quarters before you dropped away. Just keep playing the kids and you will see more competitive games and wins (North at home). Good game by Saints but a little disappointed with the goal kicking in the first two quarters.
