    Ajax kept being ***** about it, but we finally got there.

    But this Torres handing in a transfer request shocked me.

    The timing of it all is just strange, he had the chance to go in the Summer, but wanted to stay after the world cup, played under Woy, under G & H and Cecil, now we've got KK, we're playing better football, he's scoring again, we're winning... And he hands in a transfer request with 3 days left in the ****ing window...

    He got banned a few days ago and then returned. He didn't do anything wrong in that time but that same mod got very paranoid and went to admin to get him banned.

    I guess if we could see the mods board we could see just how paranoid said mod was. He is going to Europe for a couple of months now so he wouldn't of been able to post much anyway in that time.

    He's an attacking midfielder/second striker type. Seen him with the ressies on MUTV a bit, he's quick, got an excellent first touch and an eye for a pass. He's also mad as a cut snake and thinks he's a gangsta.

    Get him settled down but keep the on-pitch aggression and we could have a real player there.

    Ferguson obviously rates him, he's already been in a CC squad and even made an appearance.

    Yeah, but Meireles is a Purslowe buy, not a Hodgson one.

    Which you can tell, because Meireles can actually play, unlike Poosen and Roy's other buys.

    Our game against Chavski clashed with the GP, so I didn't watch it - so I couldn't really comment on it!

    Best position is probably an attacking central midfielder, but he can play in a more withdrawn central midfield role, as well as on the right or the left.

    Very creative. I think he's going to be a fantastic player tbh.

    I think Torres deserves credit for putting up with Roy's shithouse tactics for long. Now apparently Torres finally feel like his body won't give up on him at any minute, so he's a lot more confident within himself. Roy can still GTFO xD.

    Has he? That's a bit of a bugger, he was always one of my fave posters.

    Might be the general tone rather than just that one incident, he'd shown several signs of being pissed off before and that might have been the final straw. Shame if true.

    Balotelli, with his bad attitude and genuine belief he is amazing will fail at Citeh. His ego will get the better of him and he'll just enjoy the pay packet without actually doing anyting. He's so over-rated it's incredible.

    Looks like Utd have found themselves another gem with Hernandez. You have got to love the energy and enthusiasm he brings to the side. I just wish our players had more of that mentality.

    Rooney is your best player but there is something definately wrong with him mentally atm. It may take until Christmas for him to find some form after the all the recent events affecting him blow over.

    What are your thoughts on Rooney btw? With Hernandez, Nani and Berba doing well he isn't being missed at the moment.
