I actually would guess he'd go to the Tigers rather than go back to Port if he really wants to get back to Victoria. This is why imo there is basically zero percent chance no trade is done. If he says he wants out.. he will be out. A vic team finishing bottom besides West Coast just makes it... -

Last line isn't correct... Butters does not have to go with (sign) the matched contract and he can choose to put himself into the National or Preseason Draft as an uncontracted player. This is why if he wanted to get to the Tiges and they finished last, Port would have to take the AFL compo... -

Cal T mentioning Greene spends time in Anglesea for family reasons. Not sure if that means he has some random family there or if goes there occasionally, whilst Melb has more family for him and his partner. Anyway if Anglesea is the number 1 family spot, surely its game, set, match Geelong. -

We'd find a spot for Greene no worries. He'd be a great forward-line rotation player. Danger probably goes. Green is still much better than Close, Martin, Henry... and who knows about Stengle. Greene being a fit player on our list can only be a good thing. -

I don't disagree... but if Roma is on our list, he isn't playing VFL. At the very least it would be some sort of a ruck duo. Edwards is only playing most weeks now because we have basically nothing in the ruck department besides old man Stanley. I do like Edwards though... I like him plenty... -

Universal Love Tyson Stengle Possibly AWOL
If Stengle was training and his touch/movement was good enough to play 60% game time, instead of his normal 80ish... that would do me. Obviously would like him to be at his.best but who know when or if that is possible. If he gets back and is looking sharp enough to select... select him... -

Roma for a 2nd rounder = Absolutely (but depends on the Aints). Not sure about any R1 now... even if it's a future R1 in the Tassie draft... which could be pick 20+ 31-year-old Roma helps our list plenty and I wish we had him right now. All depends on trade cost. -
