Weird because the take is just that playoff opponents are better on both sides of the ball.
That to me is still a Beane issue tbh if the player quality isn’t there.
I think McDermott is a fine coach, but does ride the Allen coattail. So when he fails they all do.
Play calling both sides is a shocker. Maye getting destroyed with pocket play calls instead of puts away from Willie, and the Texans being so pass heavy in this weather with this performance.
Pats D would have to feel pretty dirty for all the talk of the Texans D being hard done by.
5 takeaways for 21 points ignoring all the 3/outs, 14 without the return TD
Nothing worse in NFL fandom in the age of social media than a few split second images ‘proving’ something one way or another.
TBH it doesn’t even look review worthy to me. It’s just clearly not a catch and the ball was tipped into a defender before it was dead at worst.
How could it possibly be interpreted as a catch? Genuinely interested.
If that’s a catch, the refs are missing hundreds a year. The only difference here is that an equally ‘under it’ player came out with it instead of it rolling dead.
Maybe I’m simple but what actually is contentious about the call? It’s not controlled by the bills player and can’t be dead, and ended up in the Broncos players hands. McMillan was equally under it…
