    Club champs finished today. Was in B grade this year, and played reasonably well over the two rounds. Today was in a rhythm and got down to -1 nett after a rough start, then the first 10 I have had in 2 years, followed by a 9 and I was done. Wasn’t bad luck either, just poor play and decision...

    I’ve done the same! I find the carry roughly the same distance but 7 wood lands soft and doesn’t release, so I use it from 150-170 out. The 3 wood I now use more than driver off the tee.

    Nope. Average height + average swing = standard. Took a few holes but when I hit it out of the middle… wow. Buttery. Never had that feeling with my previous irons. Find them quite spinny too so that will take getting used to.

    I think they are great. Gives little insights you wouldn’t usually get, especially over the long term. I think the first year is free or low cost but I’ve kept it going. Don’t need any of the extra stuff though, everything can be done with the phone app.

    -1 (Par) on Tuesday and 37 points today. Down to 18.2 I know this little golden run is going to end but I feel like the lower my hcp goes the better I play.

    Had that round where it (almost) all came together. 43 points and 86 off the stick. Both PB’s! And I’m down to 19.6, which is 5.7 down in the same time last year. Putting has improved massively in the last two weeks.

    32 points yesterday. For once my short game and putting was on, short irons and wedges were like darts, but my driver was absolutely wild. Only hit 3 fairways and lost 3 balls in the first 4 holes. Wasn’t a particularly great round but still better than my best work last year.

    Great morning for golf but 4 hours sleep after working late meant I wiped the first 4 holes with really weird decision making. Settled down to finish with 26 but recent run of good form seems to be over for now. Short game and putting is really hurting me.
