    Disappointing comp on Saturday. Front nine hit a very respectable 42, back nine, we played through the group in front, and it turned my golf to crap hitting a disrespectable 53.

    Why was VFL Park not used in Rounds 1 and 2 in the 1970s?

    Ground definitely wasn't ready. I attended Coll vs Carlton round 8 at VFL Park in 1970, my first game btw. I don't remember much but distinctly remember watching the game sitting on an industrial waste bin where seating was not completed.
