Prediction Round 10, 2026: Changes vs GWS

CDT needs a spell. Too young to be given the game time he is getting and not physical enough, which is expected for a kid. Even rest him from WAFL to save face if need be.

Coach Welcome to West Coast: Andrew McQualter

Jake is the hungriest forward we've had in the last 20 years. Can't snap on his left so go's the banana on the boundary, and misses. He works hard, but this isn't the the Snake show inside 50. Square up, which he has started doing. He probably needs to play higher up the ground, push up to the...

Coach Welcome to West Coast: Andrew McQualter

We don't have any half forwards who gut run either, who work their ass off to trap it inside 50. I can't actually tell if we're trying to set up a forward half game or not because the ball rebounds so quick. Merriman would be trying to get them fit enough to be able to do it, but it's a mindset...

Coach Welcome to West Coast: Andrew McQualter

The lack of 2 way gut runners in the midfield is the problem. Was under Simpson at the end too. The ball moves from our forward 50 to defensive 50 way too easy. There's not much Mini can do about that. Losing Graham and Robertson who work both ways has left too big of a hole. Yeo and Kelly give...

Autopsy Round 6, 2026: Positives and Negatives vs Fremantle

Haven't watched the WAFL play. You might be right but I'd like to see more desperation to win the ball back aftrr a turnover. We need to value that more

Autopsy Round 6, 2026: Positives and Negatives vs Fremantle

Agreed but if he doesn't have the fitness after the quad injury, why rush him into it.

Autopsy Round 6, 2026: Positives and Negatives vs Fremantle

Hey I love him, talent to burn. I'm his biggest supporter. But he showed minimal effort after turnover. Hall could be a better option until his fitness is at AFL level.

Autopsy Round 6, 2026: Positives and Negatives vs Fremantle

Hewett has to find form. I love the talent but some chase efforts and impact just weren't there. Archer Reid needs to be dropped too. Just uncompetitive. I'd play a fringe mid over another tall forward.

Game Day Round 2, 2026: West Coast vs North Melbourne

North are cleaner around the ball. If we eliminate the bloody fumbles we're a strong chance

Training Preseason Training Thread - 2026

McGovern and Barrass both drafted as forwards but adapted to the key back role. Losing Gov at CHB after Barrass left has left a massive hole in our structure. We've had dominant key backs since 1991 with young Jako and McIntosh , then Glass and Hunter, McKenzie, Gov and Tommy. Has anyone seen...

Game Day The 2025 Draft Day Thread

Hang on so pick 23 Barnett in the 22 draft, a high talent mobile 6 foot 8 ruck, should be jogged on so we can pick up Banfield, an ok 3rd round midfielder? Have faith in Harry's development. If and I mean if he figures it out and makes use of his talent he'll have a bigger impact for this club...

Game Day The 2025 Draft Day Thread

I'm stoked with the clubs moves. Picked up the top 2, had a shy at the stumps with the GC NGA boys and walk away with laser left foot Lindsey, a high talent and aerobic jet in Allen and our highest rated NGA kid. With our 4th and 5th picks, I'd have taken Swadling and Curtin if we could have...

List Mgmt. Draft thread - 2025 (remaining picks: 29, 34)

Yeah but CDT is different. He's a smooth mover, looks more like a HF Mid with his reflexes and agility and he seems to get it off the deck like a bloke 10cm shorter. Pretty rare combination. I'm an optomist though and would rather take a shot on raw talent than take a safe pick in a flat draft...

List Mgmt. Draft thread - 2025 (remaining picks: 29, 34)

At this stage of the rebuild I'd just like us to take the highest ceiling kids. We aren't winning a flag for years anyway. We need the kids who can already read it off the pack and continually get to the right spots who can then use it. Murphy Reid doesn't have speed but is pure talent. We've...
