    VFL Casey 2026 thread

Kentfield had bad delivery to him but made the most of his opportunities so it was pleasing he got two goals. But also should have contested better and he got out marked a bit. The absolute double speak in these club write ups.

I know Ned Reeves isn't a good footballer, but Gawn absolutely annihilated him around the ground. Imagine your ruck having 3 disposals and 0 marks. Got well and truly embarrassed.

    Player Watch #4: Harvey Langford – 27 & 3 against the two-time reigning premiers

18 disposals, 2 goals and (everyone's favourite stat around here) 526 metres gained (#1 on the ground). Both goals excellent as well - one from a strong overhead grab, the other a snap and dribble that bent through. Currently 13 goals for the season and 5th highest goal kicker for us. That's...

Has me thinking I actually don't want Viney to come back and upset the balance we have in there right now with Steele and Sparrow.

Yeah, that early contest where he left his man and went up to meet the contest was the right choice but he needed to kill the ball, not attempt a soft bump. From then on he was OK though.

I thought he was pretty decent without standing out. To be fair though, I had trouble identifying him most of the time, as he's cut his hair and I was up in the rafters.

I probably overlooked his game a bit tbh, just due to sharing ruck duties with Heath so not appearing as dominant. Agree he was was excellent at ground level today and has been weirdly good at ground level all year. Put in some great second efforts.

That's nice, but please tell us about what outfit you're wearing and why it's perfect for game attendance in this weather. Is there a scarf?
