    List Mgmt. 2026 List Management

Especially when coupled with the rule change limiting it to 2 picks to match a bid. Those second rounders can’t both be used as currency for the Cody bid. We can still use them to move up the order, or during trade period, but they aren’t as valuable as they were when we traded for them.

Official Club Stuff Carlton Academy - Next Gen & Father/Son/Daughter Discussion II

Shush. We don’t want the AFL finding out out our NGA academy produces good talent - still plenty of time for them to change the rules again this year… :P

    Rumour Bluemour Discussion XLI

100%. Circumstances were different, but * turned down 3 first round picks and change for Zach Merrett last year. If there’s one thing we can still all believe in, it’s that we shouldn’t be like *.

not disagreeing with you about Cripps in Sydney, but Neales family is already back in WA, got to be a pretty strong pull for a bloke who already has a couple of premierships. Not saying that player would willingly go to a club they don't think can compete - but same logic holds for Cripps...

    Rumour Bluemour Discussion XLI

That trade is funny to look back on. The picks involved turned into: LOB, Ed Richards, Bobby Hill, Justin McInerney, James Jordon, and Angus Schumacher. There’s a 1 in 15 chance we pick the only two players no longer on a list. The other 4 have 5 grand final appearances*, 2 premiership...

Hot Topic Michael Voss resigns from Carlton. Best of luck Vossy.

Thanks Vossy. I appreciate all that you did for the club, must be and incredibly hard job. Timing was right, glad it was on your terms.

That’s fine - the nature of your reply implied that you were lumping me in with that, which is very much not what doing - I appreciate the clarification. I do think that it’s time to part ways, but I won’t celebrate us firing the 8th coach since our last premiership. I just want the club to...

You’re entitled to your opinion, but if you’re implying that’s what I’m doing, then you’re way out line. I’m not piling on. Last year I was supportive of us keeping him - give him the best chance with new people around him. But nothing changed, and I said so after the Sydney loss. I think that...

I feel like we will just just go around in circles here. We both agree on the facts, but we differ in our interpretation. I don’t like blaming one person on anything. I’m pretty consistent with my opinions on here that there’s no one factor - we’ve got lots of issues and there’s no one panacea...

I don’t like thumbs down either, mainly because if I disagree with something enough to ‘engage’, then I want to explain why I disagree. Case in point: facts. I disagree with your take. I don’t want to talk for others, but for me, it’s got nothing to do with stating facts. In fact I agree with...

Autopsy 2026 Rd 9 Blues go down after scaring reigning premiers

100% I’ve been saying for a while - hard to be a decent kick if you don’t have someone in a good position to kick to. If we play a bit less contested and give ourselves some space, then every disposal is going to be a bit more effective.
