SSP Final rookie spot for the 2026 season
Burton has a spot on Dogs VFL list if he doesn't get picked by us. No harm in him having a backup plan. Apparently the SSP players can play in the match sim (vs Essendon) but not the official practice game (vs Melbourne) Wonder if they'll play vs Coburg and Casey, plus Essendon's AFL match sim. -

He's contracted until end of next year, when he'll be a free agent and we'll get dust for him. Hence wanting to trade him at end of this year. We get decent value (especially needed if our father/sons come good), and we open up a spot for a younger player. -
