You raise alot of good points. I for one am a surfer that has worked offshore since 1994 from the NW Shelf (yes for Woodside sometimes), South China Sea, Brazil, Norway, Trinidad, the list goes on. So I have a foot in each camp but I am a realist.
California is the best example of a far left...
Well done. These people who use the benefit of great Australian companies like Woodside, Rio, Santos BHP et al then show up to protests in the 6 cylinder Landcruisers need to put there money where there mouth is and live from the land. Build a mud hut in the bush and leave their priveliged life...
As soon as I heard the ungrateful woke brigade were trying this I emailed the club to hold off on deduting money for my 4 memberships.
Got an email back saying the club will continue the sponsorship as per the terms of the agreement so we're still members for 2023, yay!
After the 1st round of this years draft I am far more bullish on Freo. If they add Johnson in the 2nd round we will have a seriously strong team through the mid 20's. From there it we be on the coaching staff to deliver.
I liked Cerra for sure but I don't think losing him will hurt much. It actually should be turned into a positive on draft day based on a couple of the WA forwards I've seen. I'm pretty sure that's why there was less haggling than normal.
It won't be Carlton if it's pick 8 only. Other clubs will be hoping Carlton are that stupid but surely they aren't?
Carlton have been stuck in a rut for 20 years and can't afford to open the door for other Vic clubs.
