I watched some of it. It wasn't as flat as you'd think. The ball still propped a bit off a hard length, making it hard to drive. But zero swing, and any lateral movement off the pitch was gone by 30 overs.

I taught Keaton Critchell when he was in Y7. Good kid; at that stage he was a legspinner first and batsman second.
