    AFLCA VOTES. Nice to see ex Peel player Michael Selwood pick up 5 coaches votes. Has been a rock in defence for the dogs. Just an old fashioned player...no flair.......just get the job done.

    There were a couple of times when it looked like he could apply a bit more pressure on dogs and he did stay off his man that allowed an easy goal . That will correct. But his kicking is a thing of beauty. If he gets 21 possies and 12 marks at around 90% efficiency then that is exceptional...

    Mason Cox's family are in town this weekend. Did the club invite them or did they just want to check out the new team. ? If JL plays Darcy and we get beaten it is as we said in the corporate world "A career limiting decision"

    We also had Treacy playing much further up the ground and Amiss closer to goal. Treacy missed a couple of longer range shots and at other times passed off as he was outside his range. Fortunately he did get one over the back to Amiss in the square.

    He was taught correct technique when he arrived instead of bad habits from age 6. He is also not a long kick. 50m is about his range.

    I would like to see him doing sprint training. that first 5-10 metres. With that weight and power plus sprint speed he is virtually unstoppable.
