    McCartney and the Umpires

Well, they kind of did. And I'm aware that I'm a Bulldogs supporter and I'm not complaining at all, just an observation. If my team was getting a free ride in the first half (I don't buy the conspiracy theories but I'll play along for the sake of the discussion), it's an absolutely astonishing...

    McCartney and the Umpires

It's not ''shoot the messenger'', it's ''we can't allow club officials to think they can barge in on the umpires during a game''

The Bulldogs and Umpires: Time for a Royal Commission?

Looking forward to the Royal Commission into umpire interference by GWS officials. Apparently they can just walk into the rooms and have a few words and miraculously win the FK count for the rest of the match. Must be good to be the AFL's pet team 🙄

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 6 - Giants v Dogs Fri April 23rd 7:50pm EST (Manuka)

Just saying what? Dogs kicked away at the end against the supposed rush of equalising frees to GWS so what's the narrative now?

Autopsy AFL 2021 Round 6 - Giants v Dogs Fri April 23rd 7:50pm EST (Manuka)

Just out of interest, couldn't that have been a 50 for Bruce after the mark? Mark is paid, defender then jumps in and starts trying to wrestle the ball free

AFL asking Dancers to work for free

If you think the 'link between the minimum wage and crime' is the strongest argument worth exploring then your opinion on the benefits of a minimum wage to living conditions and economic paradigms is worthless.

List Mgmt. 2020 List Management: Contracts, Trading, Drafting, Academy

No. Just no. Member class, no, employee of the club, also no. Friend of anybody, no no no. Member of the football department directly responsible for list management decisions, then yes. That's how professional organisations work. Living in Victoria, friend connections, had a coffee with...

What They're Saying - The Bulldogs Media Thread - Part 3

I'd like to see Wally speak a bit more. Seems a character and comfortable in front of the camera, some great perspective on the club as a father-son too I'd think.

Your exact words: 'I had no say in RFC's decision as I don't live in Victoria' implies that you could have had a say if you did live in Victoria. But anyway, I'm not here to derail the thread. I'm a visiting Mutt, I'm appreciative of my presence being tolerated so far 😄

Right. ... ..... I just can't help but take my mind back to the first comment of yours that I quoted, about how you didn't have a say in the decision citing that you don't live in Victoria as the reason. So the real reason you didn't have a say is because you don't work in football at all, let...

Do you currently work in list management for an AFL team?

How would you have had a say in a trade decision based on you living in Victoria?

    Tom Boyd retires

Great talk from Tom, fantastic to see him moving ahead in his life and sharing his story. Interesting as well his mention of Liam Pickering putting stories out to force GWS' hand in to trading him. A great insight and reminder not to get too carried away about every story that pops up.
