Palace seem to be lining up in the 3-4-2-1 system.
The very same system that Leverkusen use. I have noticed that Rohl at SWFC is also using it to good effect.
On the last tour we went 1-0 up .
India then started bringing out the "special" wickets for us .

I cannot see Smith being an opener as a long term option. You'll find at least one opener to replace Warner.
Maybe Bancroft ? but he is already 31 and a partnership with khawaja could be the most boring partnership ever seen.
The cracks are starting to show in the team . I think you will win...
You saying that shuffling the pack just to get Cam Green into the team didnt work?
It was a safety first move . Surely there is an opener worth trying within Australian domestic cricket?
There has to be some talent coming through because I reckon this lineup has about 3 years before they go off...

No windies test win in Australian since 1997.
That will go down in history as their final win on this tour .
This team is old
Warner 37
Khawaja 37
Labuschagne 29
Smith 34
Head 30
Marsh 32
Carey 32
Starc 33
Cummins 30
Lyon 36
Hazelwood 32
Some of these players are near birthdays too.
You got to start putting new players in the team or you will suddenly have to rebuild an entire team from scratch...
Forest are just lucky the newly promoted teams are way off the pace otherwise they would be in deep trouble . They got lucky to survive last season after spending about 150 million on talent.
