    That and promotion and relegation through all the leagues in the state. Create a pyramid a la the English football leagues. The traditional SANFL clubs have a huge advantage already so shouldn't be too much of a shake up. The new teams would simply replace us and Port.

    I believe that excuse can only be valid when looking at previous years. In Nicks' case his record isn't good enough. No finals, no Nicks, no excuses.

    This really irks me. He absolutely should NOT be safe. Simply being better than the worst seasons in our history (with him at the helm) should not be a reason for safety.

    Not really the same thing. Part of the claim here is that we are a sporting organisation, by nature open to the public as we are supposed to invest in the public. The comparison with other industries doesn’t track. Clubs are ‘not for profit’ and use what was public land to play and train on...

    Entitled? Not really, one can’t claim to be the biggest etc, then ask for public funding for privacy. If we want privacy we can pay for privacy, but we want government money.
