Even the AFL will surely not change the trade/draft on the fly? yeah nah, they are likely to give it a shot. thoughtful prepared changes is not their thing

Welcome Welcome to Richmond Pick 17 - Tom Brown

193 cm and 0 kg. He's a virtual player. :moustache: 188 is fine and perhaps he actually weighs something.

    Club Focus Richmond 2024

Baker yes. Bolton no ;) Baker sounds like he is gone. Just to who and for what. great leadership, good player, versatile and experienced premiership winner. Worth a lot to a team that can fit him in. Bolton can help us win premierships given his age and talent and how long a rebuild should...

I always thought BF was just a bunch of nuts, and the tigers are on the Richmond BF board. But yes, it all seems too much to be accidental. And I'd love to know what is going on.

If we have a fit list then we have good depth and a solid age profile. Big if right now. unless we can get a decent B grader cheap I'd just focus on drafting kids. And some people want us to go after pick 1. I'd look at what we have to pay. Unless it is a super star then I'd rather 2 top 10...

Player Watch #10 Maurice Rioli Jnr

The step from his current level to very good AFL isn't huge for MRJ. Consistency and being in the right place and performing skills well is all. Many players never take that step. I hope that MRJ matures this year and puts in the effort to be really fit and to get 'smarter'. I also reckon that...

It'd be amazing if we got that good a compo. Clubs usually do try to look after one another. The AFL tries to screw us over. Another top 25 pick would be an amazing haul.

Preview Round 5 v West Coast Eagles Optus Stadium Sunday 14th April 4pm

2024 is now the year of working through players and tactics. We have no chance of advancing with these injuries. But we can try out players and see what we have whilst speeding their development. Still reckon we should beat the Eagles, but this is getting ridiculous.

    Injury Report - Season 2024

The injuries will destroy our season. They do allow is to play the kids and build to the future. And mean we get a 'better' pick. If some players go FA then there is some sort of chance of a good compo pick. AFL will make sure it is round 15 though.

Player Watch #33: Kamdyn McIntosh - signed until 2023

Spot on. I desperately want Banks to replace KMac. I was hoping he'd come on faster and be ready. But until the young guys can do it week in week out and hold their own against AFL players we'll be hurting ourselves. We need to be playing them to learn. But KMac out, young guy in won't work -...

5 years seems rich. He will play well for 5 more years. Maybe 5 years if they pay a bit less, but more years. Overall, as much as I like him, I see him moving on an us advancing our rebuild as probably a better option

KMac and Pickett do the job and are reliable. They are not our future. But until someone pushes them out, or there is a decision to remove them then they will stay.

Lots of teams would fine JGTI a useful player. He's not going to get top $ or be a star. But possibly a good FA. Hopefully we get half decent compo, 2nd round I'd guess. Can't imagine first round compo. That would be awesome, but crazy
