This information helps a lot. Thanks first of all for answering.
So it means that a young player can’t choose the club where he wants to play it’s always the club who chooses the player.
So different to soccer in Europe where it’s the other way around and what makes that in the end the best...
Hello, from the Netherlands,
fan of the game since 2 months. Have a watchafl subscription and want to hear your thoughts what games
are worhty to look back from the last 2 seasons.
As I will not hear/read anything about the afl in the Netherlands I can look back the games without knowing what...
Since I visited Australia this winter the sport has a new fan from the Netherlands. Visited 2 games in real life and watched the final games at home via watchafl.
Now i see all kind of messages of players that may be will change from club and that players are picked from a draft.
I try to...
First time to see the game from my home. Enjoyed the Geelong-Collingwood match. It felt to me that this game was a much higher level than Fremantle - Western Bulldogs. But with only 3 games seen in total i’m no expert 😂😂
I don’t think it differs that much. Two things that i see different is that there is more singing from fans during soccer. Especially in England. Where as during afl games you sit next to a fan of your opponent. That would not be possible with european soccer in most games.

But I will remember the game of yesterday for the rest of my live...

the first one was Fremantle vs Melbourne. I liked it that much that i wanted to visit another game as well.
the second one was a lot from the lottery. Yesterday Carlton - Collingwood...
Great rules. I was looking for the top teams but saw, different from soccer in Europe, that there were a lot of different winners. We could learn from that, but unfortunately the big money rules
On vacation in your beautiful country and coming from the Netherlands I didn’t know anything from AFL. A couple of weeks ago i saw my first afl game Fremantle - Melbourne. And it was great.
That’s why I bought two tickets (for me and my son) for Carlton - Collingwood to get a second chance to...
Thanks for the explanation. I missed the bye during the season. I like the way the final rounds are set up with the easier road to the final for the first 4.
Luckily. That’s better. After the lost game against Melbourne I couldnt see any disappointment from the fremantle supporters. It looks like they have enjoyed the evening and didn’t bother about the loss. Is that the normal reaction you see at other clubs as well. Just asking, as I am not used to...
