He was on the Box Hill list so he would have trained with some of them. Given Mitchell was the coach at Box Hill and working for Hawthorn, think the system from their first to seconds would have made it a little easier. -

An elite midfielder is probably better to the overall output of the team. Would say an elite KPF is harder to find but they're still reliant on the midfield winning it. Midfield makes both the back and forward half look much better if they're on top of the game. That said, not complaining with... -

They will back him in and you know they will. Flicking him after giving him an extra (undeserved) year extension at the start of the season would make the board and execs who signed it off look pretty silly. Also could see us going to Goodwin which I'd rather we didn't.
